1. Check availability, below (NB: Currently, there is a 2 night minimum stay. As of January 2022, that will increase to 3 nights minimum. Also, single night stays in one room, as part of longer stay, are not possible.)
2. Complete our BOOKING FORM
3. Email the Booking Form to inforivermill@gmail.com and we will confirm dates and prices
4. AFTER the booking is confirmed, pay the deposit on line. (Please note, deposits  are required to secure booking). Click on the PayPal Buy Now button on this page. You can always pay the full price on line, if you wish, or pay the remainder at the mill before checkout. 

Please use the calendar, below, to check on availability. Best viewed on a laptop or tablet.  On the phone version, one dot or more on any given day indicates that certain rooms are booked. Click on that day to see if there is still availability. 

  • Until such time as we can be assured of remaining open, we are not taking deposits for bookings. This is a temporary measure. Please see below for 'standard' booking policy. 

  • We can accept deposits and full-cost payments online via PayPal. (Click on Buy Now button, above). We will confirm your payment once it has cleared. 

  • We can accept most cards at the mill or by phone. We will also accept cash payments but do not accept cheques. If required, there are several banks in Downpatrick.

  • If not already pre-paid, payment in full is due before checkout.

  • If paid for by a third party (e.g. a funding body) arrangements for full payment must be in place before arrival.

  • In order to secure your booking, the River Mill requires a 25% deposit on the total cost of your stay. We will refund the deposit only if you cancel 7 days prior to arrival. However, as we operate on a very tight budget, if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival we will retain the deposit in full.

  • If you paid in full at time of booking and cancel up to 7 days prior to your arrival, we will refund all monies. However, if you paid in full but cancel within 7 days, we will retain the 25% deposit and only refund the remainder you are owed.

  • If you are asked to leave for serious breaches of house rules, your deposit will be retained and you will be liable for the cost of the time you stayed with us, calculated using either the day- or week-rate as arranged at the time of booking.
